Congratulations to the 2026 American Fiction Awards Winners and Finalists
The 2026 American Fiction Awards have officially announced this year's winners and finalists, and I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to every author whose work was recognized.
Publishing a book is an achievement in itself. To then have that work acknowledged by a literary awards program is a testament to the countless hours of writing, revising, editing, and believing in a story from its very first page to its publication. Every finalist and winner should be incredibly proud of what they have accomplished.
This year, Inheritance of Silence was honored to be included as a nominee in the LGBTQ+ Fiction category. While the novel did not advance to the finalist or winner stage, I am grateful for the opportunity to have participated alongside so many talented authors and outstanding works of fiction.
One of the greatest aspects of the literary community is the opportunity to celebrate one another's successes. Every award-winning book helps inspire readers, encourages meaningful conversations, and reminds us of the enduring power of storytelling.
As I continue my own writing journey, I remain deeply thankful for the support of my readers, fellow authors, reviewers, bloggers, booksellers, and everyone who has encouraged my work. Your belief in my stories continues to motivate me as I look ahead to the release of House of Windows and the many projects still to come.
Congratulations once again to all of the 2026 American Fiction Awards winners and finalists. I wish each of you continued success and many more milestones in your writing careers.
Thank you to the American Fiction Awards for celebrating authors and the stories that enrich our literary landscape.
