Never Trust A Sneeze

About

COMING SOON: IN DEVELOPMENT

One sneeze. One spectacular misunderstanding. Two people who absolutely should not fall in love.

Miles Bennett is having an exceptionally good day.

He has finally landed the promotion he has spent three years chasing. His best friend has stopped threatening to create a dating profile on his behalf. His apartment no longer smells suspiciously like the neighbor’s cooking. And, for the first time in months, his life appears to be moving in a direction that does not require emergency intervention.

Then he sneezes.

It should be an insignificant event.

Instead, the unfortunately timed sneeze sends Miles stumbling directly into a stranger, destroys an expensive centerpiece, launches someone else’s engagement ring across a crowded restaurant, and somehow leaves Miles accused of ruining a proposal that had absolutely nothing to do with him.

The stranger is Julian Cross.

Charming. Infuriating. Devastatingly attractive.

And, unfortunately for Miles, directly connected to the professional opportunity that could determine whether his shiny new promotion lasts longer than a week.

They dislike each other immediately.

Obviously, this becomes a problem.

Because after another accidental encounter becomes dinner, dinner becomes an inside joke, and an inside joke becomes the kind of friendship neither man intended to need, Miles begins wondering whether the worst first impression of his life might have introduced him to exactly the person he was supposed to meet.

There is only one complication.

Well, several.

An increasingly suspicious ex. A workplace secret. A best friend with absolutely no respect for boundaries. The engagement-ring incident that refuses to die. And the inconvenient fact that Julian may be hiding something capable of turning their accidental romance into another spectacular misunderstanding.

Miles has spent his entire life believing that the right moment will announce itself clearly.

He is about to learn that life rarely gives warnings before everything changes.

Sometimes it gives you a sign.

Sometimes it gives you a second chance.

And sometimes—

it just makes you sneeze.

Warm, irreverent, romantic, and gloriously chaotic, Never Trust a Sneeze is a romantic comedy about terrible first impressions, unexpected second chances, and the dangerous possibility that the person who disrupts your perfectly acceptable life might be exactly the person who makes it better.
