Starving Artist & Saviors

About

Starving Artist and Saviors follows Darius Baer, a gifted painter barely surviving in a city that celebrates art only when it can profit from it. Buried under debt, rejected by galleries, and one missed rent payment away from eviction, Darius spends his nights creating hauntingly beautiful murals that appear anonymously across the city.

Everything changes when a wealthy philanthropic collective known as The Saviors discovers his work. They offer him money, fame, and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: become the face of a movement that claims to “save” struggling artists from poverty and obscurity.

At first, it feels like salvation. Darius finally has resources, recognition, and a platform. But as he’s pulled deeper into the organization, he realizes The Saviors are not rescuing artists out of compassion. They’re carefully selecting desperate creatives, reshaping their stories, and turning their pain into profitable propaganda for the elite.

Caught between survival and integrity, Darius must decide how much of himself he’s willing to sacrifice to escape starvation. And when fellow artists begin disappearing after publicly resisting the group, he uncovers a darker truth: The Saviors don’t just own art. They own the artists too.
